If we consider that those that pop in from time to time may not have seen this poll, we can weight accordingly and it would be fair to say there are equal numbers visiting a few times a week & multiple times a day.

When people are busy with a project they are likely to get on with said project and visit LinkedIn for research or over coffee a couple of times a week. Equally, when people are looking for fresh opportunities they will visit with increasing frequency.

If you are busy then you are likely to be in your office. If you have a team of people then you are likely to be managing those people from your office.

So it is fair to assume that key decision makers are in their offices, visiting LinkedIn a couple of times a week to see what’s happening but focussed on their projects from the environment in which they work.

Based on this theory I am now trying out a new way of working. In my early career I used to knock on a lot of doors selling my wears. Life often goes full circle and over the next few months I am going to put the above theory to the test.

Mornings I plan on visiting industrial estates & professional office areas of towns, within a 10 mile radius of Windsor and the afternoons my focus will shift to online. I will attend networking events where I feel there will be business owners who could benefit from the services I am representing.

The equivalent of 1 week each month will be dedicated to opportunities in London, focused around Tech City where the latest innovations are being born and new companies may appreciate my services & those of the organisations I represent.

I am currently representing 2 organisations and am looking for a further 2 to compliment the trial process. The cost is a very favourable £1000 per month to be part of my thought process while engaging both on & offline. 50% payable in advance & 50% at the end of the month.

My role is not to close the deal. It is to identify decent opportunities for further discussion with someone fully versed in the product / service available. To this end my target is to generate you 10 good leads for my fee.
