Last week I came down with a damn cold and being old school, not wishing to share it, I opted for online engagement and connecting with those who might find the phone answering service of value. I joined a few new groups on LinkedIn and started to engage… reflected and wrote an article a day in line with my mission to connect with those in ecommerce and customer service.
One aspect shone out as I read new messages into my own inbox each day… do make yours original, don’t blanket bomb your connections.
This week I need to get some of Windsor’s tarmac under my feet… talking to local businesses, identifying office supply, call answering and other business needs my sponsors can address. If you’re based in or around Windsor, next time you have an office supply need, make sure you give my boys a bell for a quote… you can review their online catalogue here…
I’m going to make the most of the traffic from my old sites, my onthisdayinhistory.co.uk site used to attracted tens of thousands of visitors a month, it can again. Logic told me that because Windsor attracts global attention, increasing the fun facts of Windsor and e-commercing local gifts would be a logical progression and fit with talking to local businesses about the extra value I bring to the party! Just started the re-engagement and already driving traffic…
Exhibitions are great for new businesses to connect with local business people. If you are new to the Windsor, Slough, Maidenhead area take a look at the Thames Valley EXPO on 13th June 2013. I’ve been asked to talk and they’ll get 3-400 business people through the door. Take a look and give Allison or Alec a call on 0843 289 4634 and tell them I sent you.
