One of the three last commercial flights landing at Heathrow a few years ago… sad day…
Every day I get an Google alert… it gives me links to current stories which mention business & Berkshire…
I had to smile at this mornings stories… “Air hub to east of London leave Thames Valley cold” and “Berkshire are just too dominant for Devon”.
Those who live in East Berkshire, like me in Windsor, have the constant noise of planes into Heathrow & not even Concorde majestically taking off at 10:50am to make it all worthwhile!
The M4 & M25 are buzzing away 24/7 which all gets very boring.
Many locals head for Devon’s surfers coastline or the oxygenated New Forest in search of a calmer existence… playing bowls sounds good 😉
Which makes you feel coldest… the thought of a new airport in Essex OR another runway at Heathrow?
Please offer your thoughts in the comments box below… thank you…
