Christmas Fayre at Foundation Park, Maidenhead

A choir from Manor Green School stole hearts at a Christmas Fayre at Foundation Park with a selection of carols and festive songs on Thursday (21) afternoon.

They clearly enjoyed the production and were word perfect for the fayre which raised over £100 for their school.

The event at Canon Lane, run by Foundation Park marketing representative Debra Peterken, attracted a wide variety of stallholders selling clothes, jewellery, spices, Christmas gifts and cards.

“The children gave a wonderful, enthusiastic performance and it was a pleasure having them here again to add some real Christmas spirit to the event.” said Debra Peterken.

There was also a guest appearance and stall from Marlow based business author Helen Isacke who has just published a book aimed at new managers called ‘Soft Skills for Strong Leaders’.

She enjoyed the networking opportunity and said: “I have met many interesting people at the fayre and the performance by the children was lovely.”
