danny metro bank windsor

Metro Bank takes you back to Windsor circa 1957

There is nothing more annoying than not being able to talk to a real human being when you want to… and most of us want to… Metro Bank has been listening and is rapidly expanding across London & the South East.

Pop into their Windsor branch so Danny and her colleagues can take you back to 1957 (great big pictures of Windsor back then on the wall) when customer service rocked & Harry Belafonte was at No.1 with Mary’s Boy Child… for those pop quiz champions, Johnnie Ray was “Just Walkin’ in The Rain” in ’56 & Conway Twitty “It’s Only Make Believe” was ’58, silly you!

Because it’s Christmas Danny has promised to show any new customers her puppies… I know what you’re thinking … Metro Bank sponsor Battersea Dogs Home and dogs are welcome in the branch WUFF WUFF 😉

Took me 20 minutes to set up the account and I walked out with a MasterCard® PayPass™ card I could use straight away… like the Oyster card you see folk using up London but for normal shopping up to £20.

For busy people like you and me, they are open 8am while 8pm on a week day. 8am to 6pm on a Saturday & 11am while 5pm on a Sunday. Hurrah! You can then also manage things online if you trust that new fangled webby thing.

There are lots of people in the bank to answer your questions and there is even a counting machine for all that copper & silver that keeps pilling up in those corners… go bag it all up and take it along, you don’t need to have an account to cash in but it will give you a reason to go check out their décor… go see if you recognise anyone in those pictures?

Thinking of squirreling some money away… don’t let those crooked crows get a hold of your nuts 😉

Thank you.
