This morning, from 8am I have been inviting my 2,927 LinkedIn followers to follow the blog, if you have followed us then thank you, thank you, thank you!
Thank you if you are one of my recent followers of the blog… thank you if you’ve been suffering them for a while 😉
To be successful in 2014 then others need to know you exist & by creating your own blog and social media heart beat you can ensure an easy way for others to stay tuned.
I’ve been around the online marketing world for a long time and it is becoming increasingly difficult for people to hear your message… they have to want to listen to your pearls of wisdom, you can’t force them to engage…
And in reality, if folk don’t care for your style then they are unlikely to join in and so all you can do is invite people, as I have done you, and wait to see who does follow… obviously you’re one of the more intelligent of my LinkedIn followers!
Those that do follow your blog are likely to share your gems further a field as someone says something about what you’ve been rattling on about to trigger their memory… they will quote you without much effort as you are foremost in their minds eye because of your regular blogs.
Thank you for choosing to receive mine. I am conscious that 4 blogs a day about the same topic would be very dull, so by giving balance to promoting my business, while at the same time promoting those of my sponsors and mixing that with some interesting & light hearted content, I believe I create balance in my small world and it becomes both palatable & enjoyable.
The social heart beat of my blog is thus:
10am I put a post together that is about me & how I can help you
12pm I push out a clients content for your viewing pleasure & reflection that it could be your story that is featured… I am trying to run a small business after all!
2pm requires something lighter for after lunch. Perhaps a holiday story or something to do with health & wellbeing that gets you thinking about you.
4pm fun facts about the following day in history. If you are giving a talk the next day then having a few fun facts is blinking useful to lighten the mood before showing your greatness 😉
If I can be of service then please do get in touch.
