On Saturday 22nd March I had the pleasure to enjoy 8 teams from across the Region give of their best at the University of Surrey, Guildford.
Obviously I thought our team was the best and they came close… I asked the girls if they’d like me to video their presentation and they said yes please.
Ladies & gents Licensed Vituallers’ School’s Harriet Audaer speaking on the subject of “15 Minutes”, chaired by Blessing Park & Kirsty Exley delivering the vote of thanks.
It is my plan to video next year’s club heat at the very least. Having these memories to look back on is great for all concerned.
The judges seemed to go for the humour angle this time around with Woking School winning the Intermediate Class with Matthew Hill delivering an excellent presentation around “Lost in Language” ably supported by Ross Davidson & George Loxton.
The Seniors was taken by Halliford School, Eugene Smith using his mimicking skills to entertain us on the subject of “Young Britain’s neglected Bookbase”, chaired by Ivan Srbulov & the proposer of vote of thanks Ben D’Alton.
Thank you.
