Outplacement Support Service for Berkshire

Given that we should all do what we’re good at if we are going to enjoy our time on this ‘ere mortal coil then watching individuals grow, knowing I have been part of the steering group is what floats my metaphorical boat.

For years I have tried to help small businesses grow but invariably the owners don’t have time to apply the learning that I have shared, much to my irritation! What am I doing this for?

“Get the money in, don’t worry about if folk use it or not!” I hear more than one of you cry… but I can’t… I need to know there is some value add going on, if not why bother in the first place.

I put myself out there as an ICE BREAKER, saying hello to strangers so you don’t have to… that doesn’t mean because I say hello they will magically want what it is I have to offer today and for most small businesses in 2014, thanks to the amazing management of governments of all colours over the last 20 years, any expenditure really needs to come with a legal threat of pain behind it… and there are plenty of those demands on the increasing limited resources of an SME…

The reason larger firms have to let people go is to help balance the books, or make them look more interesting for investors and so where I can really add some value is in helping those “fresh faced & bushy tailed” new kids on the sole trader block build their networks far more rapidly than they could do under their own efforts.

Most businesses take 2-3 years to build up a head of steam… unless they have left with a bunch of contracts under their belt, negotiated before they exit. You have to go out and find your new customers who have a need for what you have to offer, are willing to pay for a solution & like the cut of your jib… this takes time… Rome most definitely was not built in a day…

So because I have been building my network for years, since 2002, I will allow those who cross my palm with silver the ability to fast track themselves… saving themselves months of digging around… that doesn’t mean you don’t have to get your hands dirty, you will!

We’ll start by creating a logically themed monthly networking event under our Slow Business Networking model… the theme being you & what you are passionate about…

We’ll drive audiences through our communications via our blog, email newsletter, LinkedIn, twitter…

You’ll send us blog posts / articles that share your wisdom & we’ll push them out via our channels…

Over 6 months, by sending out your information to over 10,000 people regularly, it’s fair to assume over 1,000 more business people in Berkshire will know who you are and what you can do for them…

Marvellous… you’ll generate some nice warm leads & I can watch you grow knowing I’ve done my bit…

Everyone is happy.

Thank you.
