Find your PASSION with our CSR Initiative 2014

Are you looking for a LIFE CHANGING experience to help you find your passion? To do something that will help you grow while impacting on the lives of others? Perhaps something your company could join in with?

I’ve been helping local businesses for many years, the SME kind who are increasingly becoming an endangered species! For many SME to thrive in 2014 they need to become micro businesses of only 1 or 2 people who then resource on others as their projects require… these micro businesses then focus on things they love to do & are good at… becoming excellent at what they do as their passion shines through, keeping them on track…

So what are you passionate about?

Let’s help you find out… the ONE BOAT Project is aimed at helping the people of The Philippines feed their families… just £500 buys a fishing boat with engine & nets for a village… cost that out in the UK!

So how about taking some time out to visit The Philippines, live with the villagers for a week or so to really feel what it’s like to have very little & make the best of what you’ve got?

The ONE BOAT Project will take you to a boat builder’s yard so you can see the boats being made & then you get to use the boat you’ve funded to go out fishing with the villagers to catch your evening meal… not just for a celebrity one night only & then on to some posh hotel but for a whole week, maybe more!

There will be a chance to see the other side of life, with a few nights hosted by local Rotarians before flying back to Blighty…

Now that will give you more than a few memories… it will be LIFE CHANGING…

How about getting your company involved?

This would make for a fantastic International CSR Project for your company… take a look how Wikipedia defines Corporate Social Responsibility…

Corporate social responsibility (CSR, also called corporate conscience, corporate citizenship, social performance, or sustainable responsible business/ Responsible Business)[1] is a form of corporate self-regulation integrated into a business model. CSR policy functions as a built-in, self-regulating mechanism whereby a business monitors and ensures its active compliance with the spirit of the law, ethical standards, and international norms. In some models, a firm’s implementation of CSR goes beyond compliance and engages in “actions that appear to further some social good, beyond the interests of the firm and that which is required by law.”[2][3] CSR is a process with the aim to embrace responsibility for the company’s actions and encourage a positive impact through its activities on the environment, consumers, employees, communities, stakeholders and all other members of the public sphere who may also be considered stakeholders.

Helping individuals / your employees make the most of themselves…

Large organisations need to look at helping their employees grow… for some growth will mean exiting the business… for others it will mean taking on that next promotion… either way, the ONE BOAT Project can really benefit your employees…
