WHAT ARE THE WEST BERKSHIRE BUSINESS AWARDS?
West Berkshire is home to a wide variety of prosperous and exciting businesses; from the large multi-national to the sole proprietor working from a rural location. Tucked away in business parks, private homes, rural premises and large industrial estates these exciting businesses are valuable to our area, providing jobs and bringing income to West Berkshire.
The West Berkshire Business Awards is an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the often unnoticed success of our business community. It’s about promoting business, providing a networking platform and awarding deserved accolades that boost business and promote confidence and pride.

The second West Berkshire Business Awards Gala Dinner will be on Friday 17th October at The Racecourse Newbury. Put the date in your diary now.
THE COMMITTEE – WHO IS BEHIND IT?
The Awards Committee includes members of the West Berkshire business community and hale from an interesting mix of backgrounds. All members of The Awards Committee will give of their time and skill free of charge to ensure a professional and successful event and they will be fully committed to promoting the Awards Ceremony to their business contacts. All sponsorship fees go into the event itself ensuring a celebration that everyone can enjoy.
WHY SHOULD YOU ENTER?
In the first year of the Awards over 150 businesses and organisations entered the 10 categories. Three of four in each category were shortlisted and all those on the shortlist were visited by the adjudicators. On the night of the Awards all shortlisted entries were profiled in the Awards Programme and promoted from the stage. The winners received coverage in the local media and the opportunity to promote themselves as WBBA winners.
From the winners in each category an overall Business of the Year was selected.
