Slough Business Community Partnership SMCP held their annual conference at the Hilton, Colnbrook last Thursday.
What is SBCP?
Slough Business Community Partnership (SBCP) was formed in 2001 as a ‘not for profit’ company limited by guarantee. Since that time it has grown to become one of the leading Business Community Partnerships in the UK. The Partnership goes from strength to strength and now has an active membership of 55+ companies and organisations which represent large, medium and small businesses, the Council and the Voluntary Sector.
What do they do?
Slough Business Community Partnership (SBCP) is working with businesses to encourage them to adopt and promote responsible business practices through the development of their Corporate Responsibility strategy. We encourage community involvement activity by developing strategic and innovative ways for businesses to provide support to help meet the needs of the community and make a real difference. Through our collaborative partnerships with the private, public and voluntary sectors we are tackling key issues that affect those people who live, learn and work in Slough. We are a unique organisation that promotes the use of business skills to support the development of community organisations by creating beneficial and meaningful relationships.
