Thames Valley EXPO Reading has just opened FIVE subsidised exhibition spots to young people with a business idea they want to get off the ground.
The idea is for 18-21 year olds who live in the Reading area to submit their idea for consideration and those that meet these criteria will be given the chance to Crowd Fund their exhibition space cost using CrowdPatch and keep any balance to progress their idea in the best way they see fit.
All Young Crowd Funding Entrepreneur submissions require:
• Between 500 – 750 words describing what you are looking to achieve with your project
• At least 2 – 5 photos showing who you are & giving clarity to your project
• A video appeal of between 30 – 90 seconds, uploaded to Youtube
• The willingness to rally your own crowd, friends, relations, contacts, local businesses to come and view your Crowd Funding project online.
Check out this project for GROW @ Green Park >>>
Thames Valley EXPO stands start at £275 inc VAT and they are willing to subsidies the Young Crowd Funding Entrepreneurs to the tune of £50 each to get their crowd funds off the ground. The first 5 who achieve their initial goal of £275 will have a stand on March 19th at The Green Park Conference Centre, Longwater Avenue, Reading. RG2 6GP
Any over funding will be kept by the Young Crowd Funding Entrepreneurs to be invested in their project. If more than 5 reach their goal then we will work out a Plan B to give them exposure at the event, including taking up my allotted speaking time for their benefit. All those that join in get to keep any balance of funds to use towards their project because that is why folk have helped them… so 100 young people could join in this initiative and they will all be WINNERS.
There are 2 months to go, so we’d best see those appeal videos ASAP.

If you know of young people who should join in, give them a nudge to this page.
Thank you.
