magna carta 800 thames river relay

#CROWDFUNDING The Magna Carta Thames River Relay

Here in the UK every year there is an event that captures the mood of the Nation and this year it’s The Magna Carta.

There are many Magna Carta Events taking place around the world and the Thames River Relay, taking 2 full days over the weekend of 13th & 14th June 2015, is set to be the centre piece.

The riverbanks of The Thames will be full of thousands of locals and tourists looking to catch a glimpse of the 200 strong flotilla, including the Royal Barge Gloriana, historic row boats from around the world… you can still register, closing date is 28th February.

Along the banks of The Thames will be a multitude of events taking place… local communities coming together to add a huge variety of entertainment for all to enjoy!

To make such an epic event possible, £150,000 needs to be raised and I offered my services & those of CrowdPatch to make it possible…

This project was launched on the morning of Friday 20th February 2015, exactly 13 years since I sent out my very first email newsletter… I’ve just realised the symbolic nature of this as I type!

We’ve put a list of gift options together that allow large businesses to get what they need from large contributions, an array of unique items for generous local citizens and some fun token items for those who’d like to make a small contribution… making them all part of what will be an historic event.

Please take a look, we’ll be replacing the current images with actual images of the items as they become available… this story is “well hot” off the press 😉

Be one of the first to contribute…

Thank you.
