For the 3rd year running the cost of entering a crew (up to 15 in a squad) remains the same at £495.00.

There will be 36 crews and each race has 4 boats. This ensures that the day is not too long.

All crews get a minimum of 3 races with the 8 fastest progressing to the semi-finals.

Within the main competition there will also be prizes for the fastest mixed crews, minimum 5 ladies. There is also a cup for the fastest crew associated with the building trade. Every paddler gets a souvenir medal.

A requirement of entry is that each crew raises a minimum of £250.00 to go towards Rotary charities. (This requirement is waived for registered charities.) Any monies above that can go to a charity of the crew’s choice or to Rotary.

The venue is the Olympic rowing lake at Eton Dorney. The sound system stretches the entire length of the racing so there is lots of room for marquees or gazebos. There is hot food and licensed bars provided by Eton Dorney with picnics welcome. The only restriction is that visitors are strictly forbidden to cook their own hot food on site due to potential pollution of the water table.

Entry to include car parking is £10.00 per car with each crew being sent 3 passes. Entry includes free children’s rides, bouncy castles and face painting and this was a huge hit with families last year. There is extensive car parking with disabled spaces and a shuttle service to the race area if required.
