- Finding the job search more difficult than it was in the past?
- Had several interviews but still no luck?
- Would like to have a career change but not sure how to go about it?
- Not sure what to do to increase your chances of getting a role that is right for you?
Well, the Bracknell Careers Springboard Job Club can definitely help you. At the Friday meetings you have the opportunity to get advice, practical support and encouragement from the experienced volunteers and other members. In addition there are presentations on relevant topics such as: Using Linkedin & social media in your job search, Selling yourself and your skills, Handling difficult questions at interview and much more…
Since 2006 we have helped many find the roles they want. E.g. A recent member had been made redundant from his long term career in the public sector. He decided he wanted a career change in an area he was interested in but did not have direct experience of. With the support of Springboard and a focus on his transferrable skills he found new role in cyber security with a higher salary to boot!
Another professional we helped had been unemployed for 2 years and felt disheartened by his lack of success in getting back into the job market. With the support of a Springboard Coach within three months had a job offer.
Membership of Careers Springboard and all our services are free. You can attend the regular term time meetings at Bracknell Open Learning Centre on Friday afternoon between 1.30 to 4 pm. Our group can help you with career direction, rebuilding confidence, creating a CV that will get interviews, interview skills and more.
