The Sexual Health and reproductive services will ensure that sexual health of the Berkshire East populations improve, reduce inequalities, improve sexual health outcomes, provide easily accessible information on sexual health and treatment where everyone is able to make informed and responsible choices about relationships and sex.
The contract term is intended to be for a period of 5 years, subject to budget and performance reviewed annually. The indicated value is for the maximum period of 5 years.
The service will cover the levels of service identified in the specification which are:
• Treatment and care for sexual health (excluding HIV)
• Contraceptive services (additional to core primary care work)
• Sexual health promotion but will exclude the National Chlamydia Screening programme and Sexual Health services delivered by school nurses.
