Slough Borough Council wishes to engage with the market to gauge the interest in the delivery of services for those service users that are difficult to engage in traditional services. These people could be defined as vulnerable people who have capacity but make choices that put them at significant risk from their own behaviours or the behaviour of others. These people are likely to access support from a number of different services such as ambulance, police, A & E, GP etc. This service will work in partnership with other agencies both statutory and community to ensure that the service user has the right support in place to minimise the risks to themselves.
The aim of the day is to:
• outline the needs of the Borough
• give prospective providers an opportunity to influence the service specification
• give providers an opportunity to comment on the opportunities and risks of the potential service models the Council are considering
• meet with potential providers
The event will be held on Thursday 9 May 2019, 9.30am to 3.00pm.
Please contact Vicky Tutty, victoria.tutty@slough.gov.uk by 2 May 2019 to register your attendance and received booking confirmation and venue details. This will inform on numbers to ensure it is a viable event.
