Provision of Passenger Transport Services – Market Engagement Event Wokingham Borough Council

WBC procure passenger transport to and from various establishments (e.g. schools, colleges, respite care, daycare, short stay establishments) within and outside the Wokingham Borough for mainstream, SEN pupils andadults.

Transport services vary and will therefore require different vehicle types plus drivers and possibly passenger assistants.

It is the Councils intention to establish a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the future provision of transport services. The DPS is anticipated to be open in September 2019 and run for 10 years, during which time new applicants can apply to join. This is a new approach to how we currently procure, therefore the Council will be hosting a Supplier Information Event at the Council Offices on 25 September 9.30am – 11.30am to explain what is a DPS, how it works, registration process, how to apply, expected timetable etc. Please register your interest to attend by email: or telephone 0118 9746119.
